Not so good this time

I lost this time attacking his city of Dallas but I put a small dent in the forces he has in that city and I will have the heroes back and some troops in a few days. On the plus side I own one of his mines until he takes it back, but he will be pissed, proably more with Dragon than me, but still pissed non the less.

You should have maxed out soldiers on your lvl 47 using the 1/full/full/half/1 formation. Then you would have slaughtered his forces.

ah. it's better to save up and not be impatient though. that's what I do at least.

I understand just remebered I had one more thing against me my I was loosing food insted of gaining it.

Oh, as long as you don't reach 0 then you should be fine.
